Gallery- Our Ellis cousins in New Zealand
About 1860 or so, the brother (William
Henry Rawle Ellis) of my ggreat-grandfather (Capt. John
Ellis) went to New Zealand. As far as I know he settled in
the Auckland area, married Susannah Fernley Fisher and had
ten children. My family has been in contact with one NZ
cousin since 1995 (found by accident online), but now two
more cousins have surfaced & one has sent me photos of
Wm. H. R.'s daughters and her father. From the
collection of Faye Stevens.
